What is Salt & Light?

Salt & Light is a three-year leadership program designed for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Its purpose is to develop American Christian leaders who will impact their sphere of influence, with the goal being the embodiment of Matthew 5:13-16. We desire to assist the home, the church, and the faculty in training our young people to make a difference wherever God places them.

Our 4-Part Focus

Worldview

We believe that it is essential for students to know their faith – why they believe what they believe.

Leadership

We desire to instruct, inspire, and demonstrate what it means to live out their faith in every day life.

Evangelism

The bottom line of all we do is so that students can share their faith, the Gospel, with others.

Apologetics

As the world is full of skeptics, students must know how to defend their faith, to know why it’s right.

Matthew 5:14-16

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
