Christian Heritage Academy recognizes the need for ongoing professional development within its faculty. Under the guidance of Dr. Susan DeMoss, Associate Headmaster, faculty members are organized into a formal structure under the mentorship of deans. The purpose is to foster accountability to the mission, core values, and educational philosophy of Christian Heritage Academy and to encourage personal and professional growth among the faculty.
REGISTER
Established in 2018, RestorED is an educator's conference hosted by Christian Heritage Academy (CHA) in Del City, Oklahoma. It is designed for all school employees (teachers, staff, administration). Sponsored by Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and Hope Is Alive (HIA), the conference is 2-3 days in early June and features an all-star line-up of presenters from various schools.
One day of the conference is typically aimed at a worldview topic that is currently confronting schools, while the second day's sessions are geared towards pedagogy and methodology. The optional third day is for curriculum development. Participants can also earn two ACSI CEU's (Continuing Education Unit).
It is our desire at CHA to see education restored to God's original design, "assisting the home and the church in raising true Christian scholars who will be used of God to propagate the gospel and restore our American Christian republic to its historic, biblical foundation."
