Mr. Jeremy Vogler

President

Mr. Vogler previously served on the Board of Trustees from 2016 to 2019 and was re-elected in 2021 and serves as the current President. He earned his BBA in Accounting at the University of Oklahoma in 2000, and is a licensed CPA. He and his wife, Cheryl, have four children—Samuel (Class of 2022), Eli (Class of 2024), Benjamin, and Leah currently attending CHA. They are members of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, where Jeremy teaches Sunday School and serves as a deacon and treasurer.

Dr. Kevin Penwell

Vice President

Dr. Penwell previously served on the Board of Trustees from 2015 to 2022 and was re-elected in 2023. He is an alumnus of CHA class of 1990. He holds a BS in Physics and Engineering Science from Bob Jones University and a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University. He is the founder and Chief Operating Manager of Immediate Care of Oklahoma Urgent Care Clinics around the OKC metro. He and his wife Sara (CHA class of 1992), have four children who are graduates of CHA - Ivy (Class of 2016), Levi (Class of 2018), Banner (Class of 2020) and Libby (Class of 2023). They are members of Wildwood Community Church, Norman, OK.

MRS. DARA STEWARD

Secretary

Mrs. Steward was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2020 and serves as the current Secretary. She is an alumna of CHA class of 1999. She holds a BS in Nursing from Oklahoma Baptist University and currently works at Rapha Wellness. She and her husband Ryan have five children—Evan, Eli, Eden, Emalynn, and Elliette, currently attending CHA. They are active members of Southern Hills Baptist Church, where they met and married.

Mr. Ike Burress

Mr. Burress has 25 years of previous service to the Board of Trustees and was re-elected in 2022. He also served for ten years on the Board at the Deer Creek Schools, four of which he was the president. Mr. Burress holds a B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and is currently a consultant in the healthcare industry. He and his wife, Peggy, have two daughters who attended CHA—Brooke (Class of 1996) and Emily (Class of 1999). They attend Liberty Church in Edmond.

Mr. Earl Doner

Mr. Doner was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2019. He is an alumnus of CHA Class of 1986. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He works at Nortek Air Solutions as Engineering Director of Research and Development. He and his wife Chrysi (Class of 1997) have three children—Noah (Class of 2019), Abigail (Class of 2022) and Amelia, currently attending CHA. The Doner family attends EastPoint Church, OKC.

Mrs. Julie Haller

Mrs. Julie (Cornelius) Haller graduated from CHA in 1993. She then earned her B.A. in Speech Communications and Spanish at Baylor University and her M.A. in Spanish at Saint Louis University. She taught at OU, Saint Louis University, Eagle Valley Christian Academy, Vail Christian High School, Colorado Mountain College, homeschool and Antioch Christian Academy. She also served as Student Council Advisor and briefly as Director of Admissions at Vail Christian High School. She has most recently been a full time mom to Rye (now in Heaven) and Jazzy who attends CHA. She, her husband Rick, and Jazzy attend Eagle Heights Church where Julie loves being part of the worship team.

Mrs. Danielle Hill

Mrs. Hill previously served on the Board of Trustees from 2015 to 2021 and was re-elected in 2023. She is an alumna of CHA Class of 1997. She studied Speech Pathology at Oklahoma State University, and served for over 10 years as a children's minister. She is the owner/agent of the Hill Insurance Agency in Edmond, OK. She and her husband, Jon, have three children—Cooper (Class of 2021), Elijah (Class of 2023) and Lincoln, currently attending CHA. The Hill family attends Henderson Hills Baptist Church.

Mr. Seth Koenig

Mr. Koenig is a seasoned veteran of the real estate industry. His journey began in 1999 upon graduation, and since then, he has navigated the dynamic landscape of real estate. Currently, he holds the dual roles of manager and owner at Pioneer Realty, while also overseeing several real estate investment ventures. He and his wife, Courtney, have three children—Liam, Barrett and Jasper, currently attending CHA. They are members of Choctaw Road Baptist Church where Seth teaches senior boys in the youth group and serves as the President of the CRBC Building Committee.

Mrs. Deborah young

Mrs. Young previously served on the Board of Trustees from 2016 to 2019. She holds a B.B.A. in Business Management (1985) and an M.B.A. in Marketing (1988) from the University of Central Oklahoma. She currently works as Associate Vice-President of Development for Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. She and her husband Tim have one child, Mason, who attended CHA (Class of 2019). They are members of Southern Hills Baptist Church, where they serve in Sunday School, teaching 12th grade.
