Alumni Investment

Last week, our pre-kindergarten class had a special visit from Mrs. Candace Fox, a 2012 alumnus. She shared her special paramedic training with the Pre-K students. They got to see the various equipment that an ambulance carries. Mrs. Fox taught them how to check and feel their pulse. She showed them how a heart monitor works by hooking it up to Ms. Blasi. During the visit, Mrs. Fox gave various scenarios to the students and showed them how an EMT might treat and bandage the injury.
Her husband, Dr. Josh Fox, is a dentist. He also spoke to our classes about what really causes cavities. Did you know that it's not sugar but bacteria that produce acid? Dr. Fox taught the class how to brush their teeth properly and shared his tools with them.
CHA is blessed with almost 2,000 alumni, many of whom have or have had their children at CHA. Thank you, alumni, for continuing to invest in CHA’s education through volunteering, visiting a game, or donating to our strategic priorities.
