CHA, All the Way: How Alumni Keep the CHA Family Legacy Alive

CHA is known as family. Since its founding in 1972, and with the influence of Mr. Ralph Bullard and his strong investment in families, the school has prioritized family and alumni — and that legacy is still alive today.

A Legacy That Keeps Coming Home

Alumni are a vital part of the CHA community. It is a joy to see second- and third-generation families enroll their children, with several PK and kindergarten families now being alumni parents themselves. It's a blessing to have alumni return to speak to classes or even join the CHA staff. Many continue to partner with the school through prayer and giving toward its strategic priorities — furthering the mission of training scholars who understand America's gospel purpose and go on to lead in every sphere of society.

Alumni Weekend: Cheers, Runs, and Reunions

Recently, CHA hosted three alumni events: the cross-country run, volleyball matches, and the first home football game of the season.

Last Friday night, the Crusader cheerleaders held their first-ever alumni cheerleader event — and it did not disappoint. Former cheerleaders joined current squad members dancing to "Big Blue #1," proudly wearing their CHA alumni cheer shirts. Every alumnus in attendance at Friday's game received a red pom-pom featuring the CHA alumni logo.

An Audience of One: CHA's Athletic Philosophy

Watching a CHA athletic event is a reminder of the school's distinct philosophy toward sports, captured in the phrase "an audience of one." Through the athletic department's "total release performance" approach, athletes are challenged to be ambassadors for Christ — using the field as a platform for the gospel as they play for the ONE.
