The Gift

Man is made in the image of God.

Every unique fingerprint or DNA testifies to this in wonder and awe.  (Gen 1:27; Ps 139:14)

In a world of trouble and deep despair,

One may think that God isn’t even here.

Within us all is a great malignancy,

Selfishness and pride are easy to see.

(Romans 3:23, 6:23)

Is there any hope?

Our world cries out and tries to cope.

Why for 2000 years has there been a holiday named CHRISTmas? (Luke 2:1-24)

This celebration is recognized around the

world by those with nothing or with fuss.

God has come to earth to reveal the way

for mankind to have hope and their souls to save.

Forgiveness is free if we will willingly turn.

Lay down our will and receive what our souls yearn. (1 John 1:9)

In a world of no hope, no peace, no strength to go on...

May the truth of God’s Word and His light shine upon…

Upon our lives and show us the way -

the Way of life, joy, and peace on this winter holiday.

(Acts 4:12)

Obedience

John Sammis (1887) wrote the hymn, “Trust and Obey.” The first stanza is -

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,

What a glory He sheds on our way!

While we do His good will, He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there's no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Obedience is the first level in CHA’s leadership paradigm. Pictured above is an example of directed drawings from Mrs. Rose’s kindergarten class.  Mrs. Rose said, “Directed drawings are a great way to teach students how to listen and follow directions.” The nativity is a great reminder of Christ’s humility. Philippians 2:5-8 states, “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”

As we teach our children to obey, we teach them the key to humility. We are also fostering the key to happiness, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.

Investing in the Future

50 Year Logo

For fifty years, Christian Heritage Academy has been investing in students and families.  Through the generous support of our donors, CHA has been enabled to fulfill its mission and vision. As the end of the year draws to a close, many consider giving not only to their local church but also to CHA. Would you consider giving an end-of-year gift to help CHA continue to pursue excellence?

Recently, a donor transferred stock to CHA. Transferring stock allows CHA to benefit from any gains in stock prices. The stock donations also benefit the donor if the stock has appreciated in value in that the giver can avoid paying taxes on the earnings.  For more information on how to donate stock, please contact the Development Office at CHA.

Partnerships

CHA has a distinct leadership training program. The curriculum has been developed for prekindergarten through twelfth grade.  Training in our four levels of leadership and eight leadership practices, students are equipped to engage the culture. Last week, CHA received a grant from 7-Eleven through their A-GAME Project initiative.  The gift of $711 was given to training leaders.  We are grateful to the families, churches, and area businesses who partner with us to help us accomplish the mission and vision that God has given CHA.

As the end of the year approaches, would you consider partnering with us to provide scholarships for CHA students through the Opportunity Scholarship Fund or to provide funding for the new Ralph Bullard Training Facility?

The Lord is at work at Christian Heritage Academy.  It is a blessing to be a part of what He is doing. Thank you for partnering with us.
