Parenting is one of the most rewarding and challenging tasks God gives to His people. Moments of success can feel like a refreshing break in the rain during a long, violent storm of struggle. It's natural for parents to want to shield their kids from those struggles. But Scripture attests that is often not the best strategy.

Join Headmaster Mr. Josh Bullard at 6:30 pm on April 23 in the CHA cafeteria for Common Mistakes Parents Make and How to Avoid Them as he shares why doing hard things and facing failure without fear can be some of the most valuable lessons parents teach to their children. This parenting seminar is not only open to CHA families but anyone who might benefit from this instruction. Feel free to share and invite extended family, pastors, youth leaders, young married couples, singles, or anyone you think would profit from this seminar.

We look forward to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time!

Smiling boy working a math problem

As you know, summer is a time for fun and refreshment. Oftentimes, summer is also a time where skills in reading and mathematics diminish without review and reinforcement. It is our pleasure to offer students in grades 2nd-10th the opportunity to sustain and strengthen their math skills over the summer. Last summer, we had sixty-seven students participate in grades 2-9.  We had a great time and have decided to expand the grade-level offerings to 2nd-10th grades and do two different days each week to provide more individualized attention.

Dr. DeMoss, Noah, and Hannah DeMoss will be the primary instructors of the institute. Additional instructors may be added based upon numbers. Each hour and a half session will address one foundational topic using hands-on activities and interactive games. Students will practice speed drills and a personal progress report will be given to the parents at the end of the summer. There will be four one and a half hour sessions with one make-up session for those who cannot attend any session. Each session students will receive a take-home packet to practice the skills taught during the session. Students will receive incentives for completing and returning packets. Each session will be from 8-9:30 am at Christian Heritage Academy in room 109. The cost is $115. The fee will cover preparation, printing, materials, incentives, and instruction and it is non-refundable.  If you have additional questions, please contact Dr. DeMoss at
