Multiplication

November 07, 2022
By Dr. Susan DeMoss

In math, multiplication is defined as “grouping” or “repeated addition.” On October 26, 2022, an anonymous donor notified CHA that they would donate $2 MILLION if CHA raised $1 MILLION in gifts and pledges by March 2023. This generous gift is THREE times the investment.

With only 4% of all non-profit funding in the United States coming from grant money, this opportunity is again evidence of God at work at CHA. One might wonder, “How can we raise $1 Million in four months?” It is the principle of multiplication. Remember, multiplication is grouping. God uses people (a group) to accomplish His purposes. His word reminds us that he is the great multiplier!

Malachi 3:10, “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

Thank you for praying that God may use you to “add” to our number daily as we meet the CHAllenge.
